What is your favorite customer story since working at Gorges?
My favorite stories are the stories I hear from our family of customers!

& Company has a complete absence of typical dealer games; it truly is a
family experience.
What is your favorite customer story since working at Gorges?
A longtime customer and retired U.S. Army General was on her way to Washington D.C. in her older Volvo when she broke down in Salina, Kansas. We sent two employees in two cars to assist her. The car couldn’t be repaired on the road, so we gave her one of the cars with a full tank of gas and she went on her way.
Little
did we know she was on her way to a very important General Staff meeting. She
hated flying, so she chose to drive. We got her car back to our own facility
and had it repaired. She picked it up on her way back to Western Kansas. I will
never forget her enthusiasm for the way we handled the situation. She really
was blown away by the above and beyond effort Gorges made to keep her on the
road.

How would you best describe Gorges customers?

customers are loyal. Each customer really feels like a family member.
What is your favorite customer story since working at Gorges?
The time a lady picked up her 240 and then Evil-Knievel-jumped it over an entire section of our yard into an adjacent parking lot. She was driving at about 45mph when she launched. Her car was totaled after that.

What is your favorite customer story since working at Gorges?
My favorite customer story is when a customer stood in front of the sales
window and did his calisthenics routine while waiting for his vehicle.

What is your dream vehicle and why?
Having been in the automotive service business for over 19 years, it takes a
lot to impress me. I don’t have a dream vehicle any more; I am more impressed
with an older, normal car that has been cared for and is still in great shape.

a small dealer allows Gorges & Company to interact more personally with
customers. Low turnover builds trust since you get to know people.

Ferrari F-40 - This car was the first true supercar, and it remains a pinnacle
of performance.
What is your favorite customer story since working at Gorges?
I would have to say without compromise that my favorite story is the one where
a Volvo saved a customer’s life in a terrible accident. Needless to say, their
who family drives Volvos.
